• University of Maryland Global Health Resource Center
  UMB recently received a Global Health Framework grant from the Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health to promote multidisciplinary research and public health practice in low and middle-income countries. This grant helped create a Global Health Resource Center (GHRC) at UMB to administer the program and provide opportunities in global health. Part of the GHRC aim is to encourage and support students who wish to gain overseas experience in international public health. As a result the GHRC created a yearly UMB GH Travel Fellowship Award.
