Thesis Committee Composition and Responsibilities

After Advancement to Candidacy, a Thesis Committee will be constituted after discussions between the student and mentor.

Thesis Committees will consist of at least five (5) members:

• The student's major advisor, who will serve as the committee Chair
• At least three more PSC faculty members
• At least one qualified member from outside the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department

The Thesis Committee will meet once or twice a year with the student and mentor. A progress report form will be submitted by the student to the members of the Thesis Committee and the Graduate Program Director.
