Mass Spectrometry Facility

Training and Workshops

Workshops are held periodically to give a facility tour and instrument operation demonstration.
Apart from instrument operation overview, theory and basics of MALDI-TOF instrumentation is provided . Participants prepare samples and acquire data with assistance as necessary. Data analysis and use of appropriate software followed by analysis of acquired spectra is performed. Studies on the effect of sample concentration and level of impurities on data quality are compared.
