Postdoctoral Fellow Position
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Maryland in downtown Baltimore, MD. Dr. Sarah Michel has two projects available: 1) biochemical/biophysical studies on metal responsive transcription factors found in H. pylori 2) investigation of iron substitution and oxidative damage in zinc finger proteins. The ideal candidate will have experience in protein biochemistry and/or molecular biology. Motivated individuals with broad interests in the area of bioinorganic chemistry/ metallo-biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Maryland is part of the Health Science Centers of the University of Maryland (http://www.pharmacy.umaryland.edu/graduate/psc/) and is located in downtown Baltimore.
