Research Responsive to Maryland's Health Priorities

Our research initiatives address the most pressing health priorities in our community, including health disparities and clinical science. We contribute to a greater understanding of medication and its effects on a variety of diseases.

Our educational scholars address the needs of our profession by implementing innovations in our curriculum.

Diverse faculty expertise allows the Department of Pharmacy Practice & Science to participate in research activities using a range of research methods and approaches including: practice-based research, epidemiologic investigations, clinical-translational research, clinical pharmacology, clinical trials, and laboratory methods, including pharmacogenomics. Our research is often collaborative and multidisciplinary, including research in collaborative practice settings.
