Prior interests included altered regulation of cytochromes P-450 in liver in response to exercise, aging, and select drugs; use of hepatocytes and liver slices in studying integrated phase I and phase II drug metabolism; and drug interactions in specific cytochrome P-450 isozymes.  Current interests include developing international relationships with schools of pharmacy attempting to expand their clinical pharmacy programs.
