Mona G. Tsoukleris, Pharm.D., BCPS is Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice and Science (PPS). She earned a Pharm.D. from University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 1987. She completed an ASHP-accredited residency in Clinical Pharmacy with an emphasis in Adult Internal Medicine at University of Missouri — Kansas City/Truman Medical Center in 1988. Dr. Tsoukleris’ scholarly interests include evaluating and improving patient adherence and use of medications for the treatment of obstructive lung disease with a current emphasis in pediatric asthma in underserved children. She is particularly interested in evaluating medication use patterns and improving patient technique for and health professional knowledge of drug delivery and monitoring devices (e.g., inhalers, spacers, peak flow meters). She has developed and is currently evaluating innovative educational delivery modes of instruction regarding these devices.
