Although not active at the present, my research interests involve the kindling model of secondarily generalized seizures to study that development and consequences of epileptic seizures, and the development of new drugs which might be effective to treat epileptic seizures. My teaching interests are primarily directed to the Pharm.D. curriculum and include co-managing the three Human Biology courses and delivering physiology lectures about the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, reproductive systems and the central nervous system. I also co-manage the Senior Colloquium. I manage several electives including Mammalian Anatomy and Histology, Fetal Pig Dissection and Student Journal Clubs for second and third year students. I deliver lectures about cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and central nervous system pharmacology.
