Research focus of the laboratory is in the field of molecular recognition by proteins.  Understanding of structural basis of molecular recognition, its relationship to protein function and protein dynamics are the three main objectives of the research program.  Currently, we are pursuing projects that deal with (i) structural/biophysical studies of protein-protein and protein-ligand recognition by antibody mimics, (ii) structural studies of mechanisms of catalysis and allosteric regulation of carbamoyl phosphate synthetase, (iii) structural/biophysical studies of the interplay between protein dynamics and stability.
