Resolving Registration Problems

You might encounter the following registration errors:

• HOLD – Click onto Student Records to view HOLDS and contact appropriate office.
• CLOSED SECTION – The course selected is full. Registration is not permitted.
• DROPPING ENTIRE SCHEDULE - Please contact Student Affairs Office at 410 706-5583
• CLASS RESTRICTION – You are not eligible to register for this course.
• PREREQ/TESTSCORE – You have not met the requirements to register for this course.
• VARIABLE CREDIT - After you have submitted your changes to registration, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click onto the word
  "variable credit". You can then go back to the course and write in the number of credits intended.  If so, use the “Web Drop” selection in the Action field to make changes to your schedule. If you need assistance, call or email the Student Affairs Office at 410-706-5583 or abonapar@rx.umaryland.edu, with your error message immediately.
