Submit a SPIN Announcement
The SPIN system is a digital signage communication tool used to communicate news, events and information across the School of Pharmacy. The system consists of three plasma screens that rotate multiple PowerPoint slides. The screens are located in the lobby area of Pharmacy Hall, the lobby area of the Pharmacy Learning Center, the lounge area on the 5th floor of HSF II, and the 12th floor of the Saratoga building. All plasma screens display the same series of slides.
The School of Pharmacy encourages faculty, staff, and students to use the system to increase communication across our campus. Simply follow the below steps to get your news item posted to the SPIN screens:
- Download a SPIN slide template below and save that template file to your computer. Only these templates will be accepted.
- Enter your content onto the template.
- E-mail the file to dl-sop-spin@rx.umaryland.edu.
All submissions are subject to editing. Every effort will be made to post submissions within 24 hours. You will be notified if there is a problem with your submission.When appropriate or by request, the event will be placed on the School’s Web calendar as well.

The following PowerPoint templates have been created to aid you in submitting information for the AxisTV School of Pharmacy Information Network System (SPIN). These templates must be used to avoid formatting issues specific to the AxisTV System.
