Services

School-wide Services

  • Maintenance of public areas and classrooms
  • Follow up with campus on building services (heating/cooling, housekeeping, etc.)
  • Initiation of work orders with campus for on-going building maintenance
  • Coordination of office and laboratory painting
  • Coordination of renovations (some light renovations performed in-house)
  • HSF II building occupancy coordination (including assistance with delivery and equipment setup)

For emergency and routine building services -- including heating and cooling issues, broken faucets, and gas leaks -- call the campus Facilities Management department at 410.706.7570 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This number will transfer to the campus police station after hours, and they will contact on-call campus facilities staff.

For follow up for a non-response from the campus on an issue, call the School of Pharmacy facilities manager at 410.706.6248.

Laboratory Services

  • Maintenance of common scientific equipment
  • Improved maintenance of common equipment areas (autoclaves, darkrooms, and new common equipment rooms)
  • Light fabrications
  • Follow through with vendors on department service contracts for equipment to make sure that services are received
  • Small repair services
  • In-house moving (the campus has limited service to the SOP due to overuse)
  • Assistance with EHS related issues
  • Assistance with event set up
  • Coordination of vendor training on new equipment
