Student Printing Policy
The School of Pharmacy will provide printers in two locations to allow students to print pages relating to the academic program. Students are allotted a credit of $50.00 toward printing services per academic year for their first and second years. Third year students are allotted $75.00 and fourth year students $25.00.
All printing done by students on the student-accessible printers in Pharmacy Hall Student Lounge and the Pharmacy Learning Center (outside of room 119) is charged against their UMB one card.
Students who use up their allotment and wish to continue to have printing privileges are able to add additonal money to their UMB one card in the Student Union or the HS/HSL library. Credits will carry over from one year to the next and will be added to the student's current credit at the start of the year. Purchase is made by credit card or cash. Fourth year students will have their $25.00 allotment initiated on June 1 to accommodate increased usage in the experiential learning program during the summer preceding the fourth year.
Any balance remaining in a student printing account is non-refundable and cannot be allocated to any other student. Purchasing additional printing credit is non-refundable.
Banner pages are printed with each job, and lists the name of the user, the number of pages charged for that print job and the account balance. There is no charge for the banner page.
The following rates will be applied against your account based on how you print:
By printing your jobs on both sides of a page, your $50.00 allocation will go further than with single-sided output. Example: Your $50.00 will yield 1000 printed pages using double-sided printing. If you mix-and-match double-sided and single-sided outputs, your total output will be less.
