Setting Up Your Computer To Access Mediasite
Both Windows and Macintosh computers can view videos on Mediasite. The requirements for each operating system are different:
Windows
- Windows XP or Vista
- Internet Explorer 7 or later, or Firefox 2.0 or later
- Windows Media Player 10 or later
Macintosh
- Mac OS X
- Safari 2.0 or later, or Firefox 2.0 or later
- Silverlight
Regardless of what type of computer you use, you must have a broadband connection -- either by using the school's wireless network, or a cable modem or DSL at home. We also recommend using a wired connection (Ethernet) instead of a wireless one, where that is possible.
