Video Teleconference Orientation

You’ve heard about the video conference equipment upgrades in Pharmacy Hall 101 and 201, here is your opportunity to see them in action!   These upcoming orientation sessions will provide you with an opportunity to see how rooms are now configured and what you can expect during your scheduled video conferences.

Faculty who are scheduled to use video conference equipment for ISAT, electives, or any other active learning activity are strongly encouraged to attend an upcoming session.

Audience Response System Orientation

Did you attend the 2009 faculty retreat and leave wanting to learn more about polling technology (aka clickers)?

In response to faculty interest and retreat feedback, we will begin piloting internet-based audience response technology in first year live and synchronous class sessions.  If you are teaching in live or synchronous sessions in first year courses and are interested in participating, please plan to attend one of our upcoming sessions.  Attendees at both campuses are asked to RSVP to rruane@rx.umaryland.edu, so we can set up materials in advance.  Faculty attending at both campuses may bring laptops to participate in the session.  Account information and access instructions will be provided during the sessions.
