Operating Instructions for the DVD/VCR Players in PH 410 and 412

The DVD/VCR Player is located inside the AV cabinet on the top left of shelf. Turn on the player by pressing the Power button (far top left of player). Locate the JVC hand held remote control that is stored on top of the player.

Turn on the projector using the Epson handheld remote control. Aim the remote at the ceiling projector. Press the red power button once on the remote. The light on the projector will go from an amber steady light, to a blinking amber light to a steady green light. The source image will be shown in about thirty seconds. Press the source VIDEO button on the remote. The sound level is controlled by the Volume buttons.

On the JVC remote control, slide the TV/VCR/DVD switch to the right.

Operations on VCR Deck

Load a cassette

  • Make sure the window side is up
  • Do not apply too much pressure when inserting

Select the VCR deck

  • On the remote, press VCR so that the VCR indicator lights up.

Other notes

  • Use the standard playback features on the remote.
  • Press the EJECT button on the VCR deck (far left) to remove the cassette.

Operations on DVD Deck

Load the disc

  • Press OPEN/CLOSE button on the DVD deck (far right) to open disc tray.
  • Press OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc tray

Select the DVD deck

  • On the remote press DVD so that the DVD indicator lights up

Other notes

  • Use the standard playback features on the remote.
  • Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the DVD deck (far right) to remove the disc.

When finished, please return the JVC remote control on top of the player. Turn off the projector by pressing the RED power button twice (watch the screen) to turn off the projector.

Dubbing from DVD to VCR

You can dub selected scenes from the DVD disc to a cassette, starting and stopping whenever you wish. However, it is not possible to dub the copy-protected disc. In such case, “ERROR” appears on the front display panel of player.
