School of Pharmacy Student Accounts
In an effort to consolidate PharmD usernames and passwords, and make it easier for PharmD students to logon to School of Pharmacy applications, all PharmD students will be required to use their myUMB credentials for the following applications:
- SOP Portal
- myUMB Portal
- Mediasite Lecture Videos
- SOP Wireless (RxOpen)
- CHARMS
- SURFS Switchover to myUM ID completed October, 2008
- myUMB Mail
The following application usernames and passwords will remain unchanged until further notice:
- Open Webmail (UMnet ID) - being phased out by end of calendar year 2008
- Blackboard (UMnet ID)
Setting up your myUMB account
Please visit the myUMB portal to setup your account. You may select "First Time User, Setup Your Password" or "Forgot Your Password" from the myUMB portal homepage. Your new password will expire in 180 days.
Your myUMB username can be any of the following:
- myUMB Alias
- 14-digit Customer Number (on the back of your UMBone card)
- Student ID number, including “@” sign

Blackboard
This account lets you access online course material.
If you have trouble logging into this account: Use the Lost Password link on the login page. This will send a message to your e-mail account that allows you to reset your password. If you still run into problems, contact the School of Pharmacy help desk at help@rx.umaryland.edu, or call 410.706.4488.
